@Ken, thanks for your comment Ken. It sounds like you're on your way. Becoming aware of your anger is the first step towards being tiltless as Tommy Angelo puts it.

I really like and recommend the Sedona Method and meditation, those two in conjuction with coaching from Tommy Angelo has made a huge difference in my game :)

Thanks for mentioning this. I've really come to the conclusion that the only thing holding me back from being successful is my own anger. When I lose a large pot to the person I sat at the table to exploit, I really spiral out of control. There's a swing that happens right then and there...it's as if I get dumber and they get smarter. From there, I spiral into a rage that just depletes my stack/bankroll.

The Sedona method sounds interesting and it (or something like it) needs to be part of my poker arsenal. I plan to have something symbolic at my desk while I play that I can pick up after losing a big pot to a river-rat, and release it to the floor. Maybe a poker chip? The chip will represent my anger. Releasing it to the floor will symbolize me being in control and just letting it go. I just have to remember to leave it on the floor for a few hands! :-)

I guess its simplicity can be deceiving sometimes, but I find it works extremely well for me. Although I remember coming across it a few years ago and it didn't stick.

But now I bumped into it again and I guess the time was right and me and Sedona hit it off, it works for me ;)

I'm intrigued you are getting success with the Sedona method. I find it rather simple.....
