Today I talked with a friend of mine who I met while I was playing Limit Hold’em a few years ago at the 2+2 forums. His name is Dan Pickering and he is a Professional Poker Player and Poker Coach since a few years back.

Dan is one of the few players I regularly discuss hands with and we bounce ideas off of each other constantly. Dan plays as high as $5/10 No-Limit Hold’em and sometimes $10/20 when the games are good, he also enjoys playing Limit Hold’em and played a lot of it before switching to No-Limit just like I did.

Anyway, Dan will be around to post a short introduction later today or tomorrow. After that he said he would be producing a big life story article.

I’ve been busy with a few things and that’s my excuse for not posting. But anyway, I will keep you guys up to date.

I have been working on my website Texas Holdem Poker 101 and there I have been working on my texas holdem online poker rooms page, so far I’ve written two reviews, one on Full Tilt and one on Pokerstars.

I am also waiting for my cash-out from Battlefield Poker which is located on the Microgaming/Prima Network, I am announcing that they are one of the slowest sites to process cash-outs. It has taken over 48 hours now, I want my money so I can play!

I just got a deal going with a poker coach, it’s the same guy who is my Pot-Limit Omaha coach, his name is Keith Anderson and he seems to be equally awesome at No-Limit Hold’em so I will try him out and report back what I think of him.
